Leanne Stendell

Leanne Stendell serves as Associate General Counsel and Chief Trademark Counsel at TGI Fridays since 2016, overseeing the management of intellectual property matters and directing trademark, domain, and copyright strategies. Prior experience includes serving as Senior Attorney and Chair of the In-House Practitioners Committee at the International Trademark Association from 2018 to 2021, as well as Global Managing Director of Trademarks & IP at Yum! Brands, where leadership was provided for the enforcement of IP strategies for major restaurant brands. Earlier roles include Attorney at Haynes and Boone, LLP, focusing on trademark and copyright law, and Vice President at Access Language Center, LLC, managing operational aspects of the business. Leanne holds a J.D. from SMU Dedman School of Law, an MBA, and a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Dallas.
