Carlos Vanegas

Carlos Vanegas has over 20 years of experience in software development, currently serving as an Advising Geophysical Software Developer at TGS since February 2020, following roles as Senior Geophysical Software Developer II and I. Prior to TGS, Carlos held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Ziebel for one year and briefly worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Rock Solid Images. Carlos began a lengthy tenure at Geokinetics Inc. in 2003, culminating in the role of Senior Software Developer over 15 years. Additionally, Carlos contributed to education as an Adjunct Instructor at Houston Community College, teaching Direct X Programming. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Houston and dual degrees from Rice University in Computer Science and Fine/Studio Arts.
