Adam Schwartzwald

Adam Schwarzwald is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in finance, strategy, and woodworking. Currently serving as the Owner, Carpenter, Maker at Oakthorp Woodworking since June 2025, Adam also holds roles as Finance and Strategy Advisor and Head of Finance at Thalamus since June 2023. Previously, Adam worked at Google from June 2016 to March 2023, leading a global finance risk and deal governance team for the Platforms and Ecosystems product area. Additionally, Adam spent over eight years at KPMG as a Financial Services Regulatory Risk Consultant, focusing on risk mitigation projects at financial institutions. Adam holds an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems and Accounting from the University of Maryland.
