Luigi Rutigliano has extensive work experience in the aerospace industry. Luigi started their career at Sofiter in 2004, where they worked as a Stress Engineer until 2007. In 2007, they joined Thales Alenia Space as a Mechanical System Engineer and has since held various roles within the company. Currently, they serve as the Head of the Thermo Mechanical Architecture Unit of DESI at Thales Alenia Space.

Luigi Rutigliano obtained a Laurea Magistrale LM in Aerospace Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma between 1997 and 2003.
