Raphael Lacombe is an experienced propulsion system engineer with a robust background in aerospace propulsion and engineering. Currently serving as a Propulsion System Engineer and Skills Lead at Thales Alenia Space, Raphael previously held roles at Reaction Engines where responsibilities included leading an engineering team and managing performance skills related to thermodynamic cycles in defense programs. With earlier experience as the LEAP-1C Engine Performance Lead Engineer at Safran Aircraft Engines, Raphael focused on gas turbine engine simulation and performance modeling, while also managing projects at Safran Engineering Services that contributed significantly to the LEAP engine performance. Education includes an MSc in Thermal Power Aerospace Propulsion from Cranfield University and a Diplôme d'Ingénieur in Energétique from INSA Rouen Normandie.
