Aaron Brosnan is President of Tampa Microwave, a Thales company. He is responsible for all day-to-day business operations, customer commitments, strategic business direction and growth.
Prior to joining Tampa Microwave, Mr. Brosnan worked at Thales Defense and Security, Inc. (Thales) for 15 years, where he served as Vice President of the Communication Systems business unit. In that role, Mr. Brosnan was responsible for all Tactical and Satellite Communications and Electronic Warfare business with the U.S. DoD and export markets. He also performed as Thales’ Vice President of Business Development, where he was responsible for leading new business initiatives in the areas of tactical and satellite communications systems, electronic warfare solutions, ground tactical vehicular and command post communications systems, and power and accessories solutions. Furthermore, Mr. Brosnan held senior
management roles, both in engineering and business development, with Sanmina-SCI in Huntsville, Alabama, and at Raytheon Systems in both Fort Wayne, Indiana and Crawley, United Kingdom.
Mr. Brosnan is a veteran of the U.S. Navy, where he was a naval flight officer. He graduated,with honors, from the U.S. Naval Academy with a Bachelor of Science degree in Ocean Engineering. He went on to receive a Masters of Engineering Management from The George Washington University. Mr. Brosnan’s awards include the Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal.
