Gary Bothe

Gary Bothe is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in reward management and HR strategy. Currently serving as Head of Reward at Thames Water since December 2022, Gary previously held the role of Total Reward Manager for the UK and Ireland at AbbVie, where responsibilities included integrating compensation and benefits programs following the acquisition of Allergan. Gary's career also features significant roles at STERIS, Action on Addiction, The Trussell Trust, and Macmillan Cancer Support, focusing on creating and implementing effective HR strategies and reward systems. Prior to these positions, Gary spent two decades at Bayer in various HR roles, culminating as Head of HR for the UK and Ireland, managing complex HR needs in a matrixed, global business environment. Gary holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) in Economics from The Manchester Metropolitan University.
