Amal Wehbe

Amal Wehbe is a Digital Reporter at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC), responsible for creating daily news videos for the ABC News TikTok account, and previously served as a Children's News Reporter for the program 'Behind the News'. Amal has experience as a Policy Intern at Reset Australia, where research focused on the role of social media in radicalization. Additional roles include Regional Coordinator at the Debaters Association of Victoria, where feedback and training workshops were provided for students, and Workshop Facilitator at PROJECT ROCKIT, presenting anti-bullying workshops across various schools. Amal also worked as a Commentary Editor for Judy's Punch, an annual women’s publication at the University of Melbourne, and served as a Melbourne University Ambassador. Prior experience includes customer service roles at Airborn Indoor Trampoline Park and McDonald's. Amal holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies and Politics and International Studies from the University of Melbourne.
