Mark Hales

Mark Hales is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience across various sectors, including broadcasting, government, and transportation. Currently serving as a Procurement Partner at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation since April 2022, Mark develops business partnerships at the management level and provides strategic advice in alignment with the organization's long-term business plan. Prior to this role, Mark was a Portfolio Manager at the NSW Department of Customer Service and held various positions at Service NSW, including Manager of Procurement, where responsibilities included aligning procurement strategies and executing complex projects. Mark's career also includes significant roles at Qantas, Maersk Line, and APL, where expertise in procurement, negotiation, and operations was demonstrated. Mark holds a BSc in Maritime and Transport Studies from Cardiff University, attained in 1997.
