Shane Haberle

Shane Haberle is an experienced audit and risk management professional with a comprehensive background in governance, risk, and compliance. Currently serving as the Head of Group Audit at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation since July 2020, Shane leads the audit team to implement the annual Internal Audit plan while collaborating with senior stakeholders to enhance risk management practices. Previously, Shane held significant roles such as Head of Internal Audit at Lendlease and General Manager at Air New Zealand, where notable achievements included the development of a world-class Code of Conduct and the establishment of a Global Privacy Office. With a career that began at PricewaterhouseCoopers, Shane has successfully led various audit teams and projects, demonstrating expertise across financial, IT, and operational processes. Shane holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Tasmania, specializing in Accounting and Information Systems.
