Brian Contos has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership and research roles. Brian is currently working as the SVP at The Health Management Academy since March 2020. Prior to that, they worked as an Owner/Independent Consultant, providing assistance to organizations in innovating practices and achieving goals through research, analysis, strategy, business, and new product development starting from June 2019 onwards.
From January 2017 to June 2019, Brian worked as the General Manager and Executive Leader in the Research and Insights Division at EAB. Before that, at The Advisory Board Company, they held multiple roles from 2000 to 2017, including Executive Director responsible for portfolio management, product strategy, scaling business, and healthcare providers starting from 2010 to January 2017. Brian was also a Managing Director focused on product management and development, practice innovation, and analytics from 2007 to 2010. In addition, they worked as a Practice Manager from 2005 to 2007, Senior Consultant from 2004 to 2005, Consultant from 2003 to 2004, Senior Analyst from 2002 to 2003, Analyst from 2001 to 2002, and Research Associate from 2000 to 2001.
Before their tenure at The Advisory Board Company, Brian worked as a Researcher at Yale University School of Medicine from January 1999 to June 2000. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in research, analysis, strategy, leadership, and innovation.
Brian Contos attended Yale University from 1996 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology.
