Renee DeSilva began their work experience as a Consultant at Accenture in 1997, where they worked until 2000. Renee then joined The Advisory Board Company and held various roles, including Senior Director of Sales, Executive Director of Strategic Accounts, and Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. At The Advisory Board Company, they led teams across sales, marketing, training, and sales operations. In 2017, they joined EAB as the Executive Vice President and Chief Talent Officer, overseeing all HR functions and driving efforts to separate the education division from the company. Finally, in 2018, Renee became the Chief Executive Officer of The Health Management Academy.

Renee DeSilva received their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Public Administration from Syracuse University, graduating in 1997. Renee earned this degree from both Syracuse University and the Maxwell School, where they studied from 1993 to 1997.
