Stephen Brook

Stephen Brook is an experienced journalist with a diverse career spanning several prominent media organizations. Currently serving as a Special Correspondent and Acting Editor at The Age, Brook has held key editorial positions including deputy editor at The Sunday Age and columnist for CBD. Previously at The Australian from 2016 to 2018, Brook created and presented the "Behind the Media" podcast, earning recognition as a finalist in the Australian podcast awards, and edited the Media Diary column, where significant stories were broken. Brook's tenure also includes editing various lifestyle sections and roles at the Guardian News & Media.
