With over twenty-five years of experience leading esteemed real estate firms, Rainy Hake Austin is passionate about strategically growing companies through her unique expertise and vision. As President of The Agency, she focuses on providing the best resources, tools, and support to The Agency’s residential real estate brokerage arm, the global new development division, and the internal creative teams that provide full-service marketing to over 700 luxury real estate professionals affiliated with this global lifestyle brand. Rainy excels in solving complex problems, empowering her team, and working collaboratively to develop best-in-class services and offer an unmatched experience to customers.
Prior to joining The Agency, Rainy served as head of operations west at Compass and as the executive vice president and chief operating officer of the Northern California luxury brokerage, Alain Pinel Realtors.
While the majority of Rainy’s full-time professional experience is concentrated in leading operations and branding for the luxury real estate industry, she also has extensive experience in providing international business and marketing consulting as well as event planning for numerous other industries and non-profits. She received her MBA from the University of Oxford, with an emphasis in international marketing and strategy. She enjoys working in challenging, fast-paced, cutting-edge, creative environments that allow her to utilize her expansive skill set and lead highly effective teams.
