Brendan began professional life as an Honor Caddie at Chicago Golf Club from 2006 to 2013. Education culminated in a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Notre Dame's Mendoza College of Business, achieved in 2015, following a high school diploma from Benet Academy in 2011.
