Patrick Meade is an experienced professional in membership engagement and admissions, currently serving as Membership Engagement Manager at the American Academy of Arts & Sciences since August 2019. Prior experience includes roles at US Sailing as Organizations Engagement Coordinator, overseeing a large network of sailing organizations, and at The Johns Hopkins University as Assistant Director of Admissions, where recruitment of a diverse undergraduate class was a key responsibility. Additional experience includes positions at St. Mary's College of Maryland, with a background in admissions and recruitment, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from St. Mary's College.

Since its founding in 1780, the American Academy has served the nation as a champion of scholarship, civil dialogue, and useful knowledge.
