Ahmed Abdel-Meguid

Ahmed Abdel-Meguid currently serves as the Associate Provost for Enrollment Management at The American University in Cairo, a position held since September 2007, where responsibilities include attracting and admitting top local and international student talent while overseeing various offices related to student support and services. In addition to this role, Abdel-Meguid is a Professor of Accounting, has held positions such as Chair of the Budget Review Committee and Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies and Administration, and has directed MBA programs. Earlier experience includes serving as a Consultant at the Ministry of Finance in Egypt from 2007 to 2010, focusing on the impact of Egyptian Accounting Standards and Tax Law. Ahmed Abdel-Meguid holds a Ph.D. and a Master's Degree in Accounting from Syracuse University's Martin J. Whitman School of Management, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Ain Shams University.
