Jennifer Bayne

Jennifer Bayne is an experienced professional in governance and administration with significant roles in higher education and nonprofit organizations. Currently serving as Manager of the Governance Office and Assistant Corporate Secretary at Nemours since June 2021, Jennifer oversees governance policies for the enterprise’s Board of Directors and regional Boards of Managers. Previously, as Secretary of the University and Director of the New York Office at the American University in Cairo, responsibilities included managing international Board of Trustees meetings and events. Earlier roles featured support functions at the American University of Beirut and a decade-long academic pursuit culminating in a Ph.D. candidacy in Science and Religion from Princeton Theological Seminary, complemented by various teaching and research assistantships. Jennifer holds multiple degrees, including an M.Div. from Princeton Theological Seminary and additional certifications in nonprofit budgeting and project management.
