Zaid Ansari

Zaid Ansari is an experienced professional in institutional research and planning, currently serving as the Executive Director of Institutional Research and Planning at the American University in Cairo since September 2009. Prior to this role, Zaid held the position of Acting Vice President/Director of Institutional Effectiveness at George Mason University from August 2007 to June 2009, where leadership was provided for both academic and administrative functions. Zaid gained valuable experience as the Director of Assessment and Institutional Research at Morehouse College from January 2002 to August 2007, overseeing operational management. Zaid's career began as a research associate at NCCD from 1997 to 1999, focusing on data collection and analysis. Educational background includes an ABD Ph.D. in Criminology from Florida State University and an MS in Policy Science from the University of Cincinnati.
