Scott J. Wernimont

Scott J. Wernimont has extensive experience in corporate strategy and development, currently serving as Director of Strategy and Corporate Development at The Andersons, Inc. since January 2019, where leadership is provided across the four business units. Concurrently, Scott is President of Maumee Ventures, LLC, the venture capital fund for The Andersons, focusing on investments in agriculture and related sectors. Prior to these roles, Scott held the position of Director of Business Development at Lansing Trade Group, LLC, leading strategic growth and investment initiatives, including significant acquisition efforts. Other notable positions include Visionary Leader at Wernimont Consulting, Treasurer and Corporate Business Development Manager at West Central, and Manager in the Contractor Relations Department at American Home Shield. Scott holds an MBA in Finance from Iowa State University and a BA from Briar Cliff University.
