Kim Scharf is currently the Director of Program Operations-Day Services at The Arc of Plymouth and Upper Cape Cod. They also hold the title of Program Director of CBDS and Supported Employment. In their past roles, Kim has served as the Team Leader Risk Management and Director of Operations at both DDM Insurance Solutions and Center Insurance Agency. Additionally, they have experience as the Owner/Operator of a bakery specializing in Gluten/Grain Free products and as the Insurance and Claims Manager at BostonCoach. Prior to these roles, Kim was an Auto/General Liability Claims Associate at CIGNA P & C. Throughout their career, Kim has been responsible for managing insurance programs, claims, and loss control activities, as well as handling financial recovery programs and litigated claims.

The Arc of Plymouth and Upper Cape Cod empowers and supports people with disabilities and their families through a variety of support services. We offer Residential Support (Acquired Brain Injury homes, Individual Home Supports), Day Services (Community Based Day Support, Pathways Autism Program), Employment Support, Family Support, Social Recreation and Autism Services. We provided services and support to just over 1,000 individuals with disabilities and their families throughout Southeastern MA in 2019. In December of 2019, through partnership with The Arc of Massachusetts, our service area expanded to include Upper Cape Cod. We serve people in Massachusetts towns including but not limited to: Bourne, Barnstable, Carver, Duxbury, Falmouth, Halifax, Hanover, Hyannis, Kingston, Marshfield, Mashpee, Pembroke, Plympton, Plymouth, and Sandwich.
