THE ARC OF THE TRIANGLE INC
Taylor Loyd is currently serving as Miss North Carolina 2023 and Miss Statesville 2023, representing The Miss America Opportunity since November 2022. Loyd focuses on promoting scholastic achievement, community networking, and the social impact initiative Healing Hearts Through the Arts within Statesville and Iredell County. Since September 2021, Loyd has been a Support Professional at The Arc of the Triangle, Inc., assisting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, Loyd is a Leadership Fellow with the Addiction Professionals of North Carolina, working on addiction awareness and resource projects for collegiate students. Previously, Loyd was a Lab Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Vice President of Recruitment for the UNC Panhellenic Association. Loyd holds a Bachelor of Arts degree, double-majoring in Psychology and Music (Classical Vocal Performance) from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
