Lily Roy

Lily Roy joined the ALPA Board as a Director and Traditional Landowner representative for Milingimbi Island or Yurrwi in 2015, after being voted in by fellow Traditional Owners.

Ms. Roy first met the ALPA CEO Alistair King in 1994, when he started managing the Milingimbi Store, and now assists him with the governance of the corporation as a Board Member.

The Arnhem Land Progress Aboriginal Corporation, or ALPA, was established in 1972 as a co-operative of community stores in Arnhem Land. Today ALPA has grown to be the largest Aboriginal Corporation in Australia and operates in 27 remote locations across The Northern Territory and Queensland.
