The Association of Former Students
As vice president of The Association of Former Students, Scot Walker '90 leads a division that includes Communications, Human Resources, Web Operations, Campus Programs, the Aggie Ring Program, and Advocacy & Legislative Affairs. He is editor of Texas Aggie magazine and has served as "The Voice of Aggie Ring Day" 35 times. He is also a mentor in the Maroon & White Leadership Fellows and was honored as a Fish Camp namesake in 2017. As a student at Texas A&M, he earned a bachelor's degree in journalism, lived in Crocker Hall, was editor of The Battalion, and received the Don Johnson Award as outstanding journalism graduate. Scot joined The Association staff in 2007 after 17 years as a newspaper reporter and editor.
