Susan Rubel has extensive experience in organizational management and insurance partnerships, currently serving as the Director of Association and Affinity Partnerships at the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) since April 2017, after previously holding the same position in a business development capacity from February 2017 to April 2022. Prior to joining AUSA, Susan Rubel worked at the Air Force Association for nearly 27 years, culminating in the role of Senior Director of Insurance and Member Benefits, where responsibilities included the marketing and administration of various insurance plans. Susan Rubel holds a Chartered Life Underwriter designation and a Registered Health Underwriter designation from the American College of Financial Services, as well as a Bachelor's degree and a Bachelor of Business Administration from George Mason University.

The Association of the United States Army is an organization formed in 1950 that has supported all aspects of national security while advancing the interests of the armed forces. As a private, nonprofit education organization, AUSA supports people involved in America's Army -- Active soldiers, National Guard, Reserves, civilians, retirees,government civil servants, wounded warriors, and veterans.
