Gitesh Gohel

Gitesh Gohel currently serves as Chief Product Officer at The Atlantic since June 2025. Prior to this role, Gitesh was Head of Product + Design at The Washington Post from November 2023 to June 2025 and held the position of Chief Product Officer at SpeakEasy AI from August 2022 to April 2024, where Gitesh contributed to a social media network recognized as one of the top North American innovations of 2024. Gitesh's experience also includes serving as Sr. Director of Product - Interactive at CNN, where Gitesh helped launch a new news streaming service, and VP Product at GIPHY, overseeing product growth and R&D. Earlier roles include leadership positions at Brigade, Tumblr, Intent Media Inc., and Jumo.com, with early career development as an International Fellow at The Center for Progressive Leadership. Gitesh holds a BA in Political Science from Brunel University and is pursuing a Master of Science in Public Relations and Corporate Communications at New York University.
