Utako Tanebe, AIA, is an accomplished architect with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as an Architect at The Austin Company since February 2022, Tanebe also holds the position of Secretary on the Executive Board of AIA Cleveland. Prior to these roles, Tanebe was a Senior Associate at DLR Group from October 2016 to February 2022, following an earlier position as an Architectural Designer at DLR Group | Westlake Reed Leskosky. Tanebe's experience also includes work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Toronto, as well as being an Architectural Designer at Utile, Inc., and an Architectural Intern at Kajima. Tanebe holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Toronto, along with degrees in Architectural Studies and Civil Engineering from the same institution, complemented by a high school education from Havergal College in Toronto, Canada.
