Jane Freudenstein

Jane has more than 12 years of experience in board governance roles, as well as significant involvement in philanthropic programs in the arts and health sectors. She has been a long-term advocate for The Australian Ballet and was the Chair of the Foundation Board’s Northern Chapter prior to being appointed the Director of The Australian Ballet and Chair of the Foundation Board in 2020. Jane is also a Director of the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network Board, the governing body for Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick and Children’s Hospital Westmead, and Chair of the People, Strategy, and Engagement Committee. Her previous directorships include Sydney Dance Company, Sydney Children’s Hospitals Foundation, as well as Sydney Children’s Choir, and Gondwana Voices. Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts with a major in Sociology and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
