The Big West
Tyler Huntley serves as the Assistant Commissioner for Championships at The Big West since August 2019, having previously held roles such as Director of Championships and Assistant Director of Institutional Services and Sport Administration. Prior to this, Tyler worked at the University of California, Berkeley from July 2016 to July 2019 as Director of Sport Operations, managing administrative functions for Olympic sports teams, and as a Sport Operations Assistant, coordinating travel, fundraising, event management, and athlete support. Tyler's career began at the University of Washington in 2015 as an Olympic Operations Intern, where similar operational responsibilities were undertaken. Additional experience includes roles as a Community Service Officer and Compliance Intern at Cal Poly University Police. Tyler earned a Master’s Degree in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership from the University of Washington and holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Government from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
