Katarina Matt is currently serving as an Assistant Account Executive at DSplus since July 2024 and has been interning in Marketing and Public Relations at The Borgen Project since July 2023, where responsibilities include content development, research, campaign execution, and media relationship management for a nonprofit focused on alleviating global poverty and hunger. Previously, Katarina held the position of Director of Housing at Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for Women, overseeing member accommodations, and worked as a Hostess Server at LITTLE WATER CANTINA LLC and a Seasonal Receptionist at Desert Sun Tanning Salon. Additional experience includes volunteering at Aegis Living of Queen Anne, where Katarina contributed to enhancing the lives of residents through engaging activities. Katarina is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Media Advertising at Indiana University Bloomington, having started in 2020, and graduated from Holy Names Academy in 2020.

The Borgen Project believes that leaders of the most powerful nation on earth should be doing more to address global poverty. The 501 (c) (3) nonprofit is an innovative, national campaign that is working to make poverty a focus of U.S. foreign policy.
