Dawn Husted is an experienced editor and writer, currently serving as an Editor/Writer at The Bowen Group since June 2022. Prior to this role, Husted worked at Yaupon Berry Press LLC from August 2017 to March 2022, where editing efforts encompassed over 10 million words across various formats, including websites for Intelligent Surveillance Corporation. As an author from December 2013 to February 2022, Husted published and marketed four books for the young-adult literary market and was nominated for a Teen BookFest by the Bay V panel. Additional writing experience includes contributions to Mother's Day Magazine, along with an editorial internship at A Backpacker's Tale. Earlier career accomplishments include serving as Division Director for March of Dimes from 2007 to 2009, overseeing fundraising initiatives and volunteer management. Husted holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Development with a Business Minor from Texas A&M University.
