Lance Potter

Lance Potter is a highly experienced evaluation professional with a diverse background in measurement, evaluation, and strategic planning. As the Principal at Evaluation Strategy, LLC since December 2010, Lance has provided measurement support to various organizations focused on enhancing performance through evidence-based practices. Concurrently, in the role of Senior Advisor for Measurement and Learning at New Profit Inc., Lance offers strategic and technical support in monitoring, evaluation, and learning. Additional roles include serving as a Senior Advisor at The Bridgespan Group and as a Senior Evaluation Officer at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, where Lance led evaluation efforts in U.S. education. Previous experience includes positions at Westat, the Corporation for National and Community Service, and IOX Assessment Associates, where Lance demonstrated expertise in public health evaluations and created assessment systems. Academically, Lance is ABD in Linguistics from the University of Southern California.
