Zak Mobariz is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience across various organizations, currently serving as the Head of Service Operations at The British Museum since March 2024. Prior to this role, Zak was the Head of Platforms and Infrastructure at the London Borough of Lambeth, where responsibilities included shaping the strategic technology vision for the council. Previous positions include IT Manager at Connected Places Catapult and Regional IT Manager at Palladium, where Zak managed IT operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Additional roles include National ICT Consultant for the United Nations World Food Programme and IT Manager for Africa and Middle East Refugee Assistance, among others. With a Bachelor Degree in Information System Administration from Future Academy Cairo, Zak has a proven track record of enhancing IT services and infrastructure while managing vendor relationships and delivering support for large-scale projects.
