The Broad
Andrew Giorsetto is an experienced professional with a background in art history and photography, currently serving as a Gallery Attendant at The Broad since September 2023. Responsibilities include assisting the Visitor Experience Team, addressing guest inquiries related to the Broad collection, and ensuring safety and security within the gallery. Previous roles encompass a range of customer service and sales positions, such as Photographer at Giorsetto Photo and Sales Associate at various retail establishments, including Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom. Andrew has also contributed as a Student Worker at Los Angeles City College, supporting photography instruction. Educationally, Andrew holds Associate's degrees in Arts & Humanities and Photography from Los Angeles City College.
The Broad
The Broad is a contemporary art museum founded by philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad on Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles. Designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Gensler, the museum offers free general admission and presents an active program of rotating temporary exhibitions and innovative audience engagement. The Broad is home to nearly 2,000 works of art in the Broad collection, which is one of the world’s leading collections of postwar and contemporary art, and welcomes more than 800,000 visitors a year. The 120,000-square-foot building features two floors of gallery space and is the headquarters of The Broad Art Foundation’s worldwide lending library, which has been loaning collection works to museums around the world since 1984.
