The Broad
Anita V. is a highly trusted museum professional with extensive experience in visitor services and team leadership within internationally recognized arts and culture institutions. Currently serving as the Visitor Experience Coordinator at The Broad since June 2015, Anita manages a hybrid team of 100, facilitating a welcoming environment for 24,000 visitors each week and up to 1 million annually. Previous roles include Visitor Experience Supervisor and Visitor Services Lead at The Children's Museum at La Habra, and Production Assistant at the CSU Summer Arts Program. Anita also has a background with The Walt Disney Company, where responsibilities included training cast members and managing special events. Anita holds a Bachelor of Arts in Visual and Public Art from California State University, Monterey Bay.
The Broad
The Broad is a contemporary art museum founded by philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad on Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles. Designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Gensler, the museum offers free general admission and presents an active program of rotating temporary exhibitions and innovative audience engagement. The Broad is home to nearly 2,000 works of art in the Broad collection, which is one of the world’s leading collections of postwar and contemporary art, and welcomes more than 800,000 visitors a year. The 120,000-square-foot building features two floors of gallery space and is the headquarters of The Broad Art Foundation’s worldwide lending library, which has been loaning collection works to museums around the world since 1984.
