The Broad
Jennifer V. is an experienced professional in the field of art history and curation, currently serving as an Assistant Curator at The Broad since February 2022. Previous roles include Curatorial Assistant at The Broad, Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of California, Riverside, and Programs Assistant at Inner-City Arts, where Jennifer developed workshops, provided administrative support, and implemented systems for improved efficiency. Jennifer has also gained experience at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art as an On-Site Services Associate, enhancing visitor experiences. Academically, Jennifer holds a Master of Arts in Art History, Criticism and Conservation from the University of California, Riverside, and a Bachelor of Arts in the same field from California State University-Dominguez Hills.
The Broad
The Broad is a contemporary art museum founded by philanthropists Eli and Edythe Broad on Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles. Designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Gensler, the museum offers free general admission and presents an active program of rotating temporary exhibitions and innovative audience engagement. The Broad is home to nearly 2,000 works of art in the Broad collection, which is one of the world’s leading collections of postwar and contemporary art, and welcomes more than 800,000 visitors a year. The 120,000-square-foot building features two floors of gallery space and is the headquarters of The Broad Art Foundation’s worldwide lending library, which has been loaning collection works to museums around the world since 1984.
