Christopher Petrik is a seasoned development professional with extensive experience in securing corporate sponsorships and partnerships within the arts and education sectors. Currently serving as Director of Development at the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra since June 2023, Christopher previously held roles including Senior Development Officer at Mount Royal University and Director of Development at Contemporary Calgary and Glenbow. Christopher’s background also includes significant positions at the Ontario Science Centre, where corporate sponsorships for various programs were secured, and as Manager of Corporate Sponsorship at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. Early career experience includes a Marketing Officer role at the South African National Gallery. Christopher holds a Master's degree in Museum Studies from the University of Toronto and a Master's degree in Classics from the University of Alberta.
