Laura Gillespie

Laura Gillespie is an experienced operations accountant currently involved with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra since August 2022. Previous roles include serving as a project control analyst at Worley, where responsibilities encompassed consolidating invoices and coordinating contractor payments. Notable experience also includes the role of registration coordinator at the Calgary Performing Arts Festival, where Laura managed a high volume of registrations and effectively published festival schedules. Additionally, Laura has experience as a recruitment officer and education assistant at Rosebud School of the Arts, and in sales and supervisory roles at Waterstones and The North Face, showcasing versatility across various sectors. Laura holds a diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and a fellowship from the Rosebud School of the Arts in Theatre.
