Wesley Bieligk

Wes Bieligk is a Managing Director with U.S. Buyout, focusing on buyouts, privatizations and strategic minority investments in the industrial and transportation sectors. Mr. Bieligk is based in Washington DC.

Since joining Carlyle, Mr. Bieligk has been actively involved with the firm’s investments in Allison Transmission, Axalta Coating Systems, Duravant, Genesee & Wyoming, Greater China Intermodal, Hertz, Novolex, and Signode Industrial Group. He is currently on the Board of Directors of Duravant.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Mr. Bieligk was with Wachovia Capital Partners (currently known as Pamlico Capital) and McColl Partners, both in Charlotte, NC.

Mr. Bieligk received an M.B.A. with honors from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. in commerce with distinction from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia.
