Katherine Shorey Herold is an experienced educator and graphic designer with a diverse professional background. Currently serving as a Special Education Teacher and 5th Grade Language Teacher at The Carroll School since August 2005, Katherine has a strong foundation in special education, having earned a Master of Special Education from Lesley University in 2006. Prior to this role, Katherine worked as a freelance Graphic Designer at Shorey Design from 1988 to 2005, specializing in signage, brochures, logos, and other visual materials, and is proficient in software such as Photoshop, QuarkExpress, Illustrator, and Pagemaker. Earlier experience includes working as an Orton Gillingham tutor at The Center School from 1982 to 1985. Katherine holds a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Greek Philosophy from Earlham College.
