Precilla McCarthy is an experienced educator currently serving as a Middle School History & Language Teacher at Carroll School since August 2019. Prior to this role, Precilla taught English Literature & Language Arts at Pope John XXIII High School from September 2015 to August 2019. Earlier experience includes a position as a Student Teacher at Mary Lyon Pilot High School in early 2015. Precilla McCarthy holds a Master of Education in Special Education and Teaching and a Bachelor’s Degree in English Language and Literature, both from Lesley University, along with a high school diploma from Milton High School.

Carroll School is a dynamic independent day school for elementary and middle school students in grades 1-9 who have been diagnosed with specific learning difficulties in reading and writing, such as dyslexia.
