Amanda Grover currently serves as the Associate Director of the Annual Fund at The Carter Center since January 2021. Previously, Amanda held various roles at Playworks from November 2014 to June 2020, including Development Manager, where management of a regional donor portfolio and execution of special events were key responsibilities. In addition, Amanda worked as an Engagement Specialist, overseeing AmeriCorps grant compliance and providing development support, and as a Pro Trainer, delivering professional development sessions. Earlier roles include Program and Development Associate, where administrative functions and donor communications were managed, and Fundraising and Special Events Intern. Amanda started their career as a Client Referral Specialist Intern at the Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy with a concentration in Nonprofit Leadership from Georgia State University.
