Leah Kraus is an experienced communications professional with a background in social media management and broadcast journalism. Currently serving as the Social Media Manager for The Carter Center since October 2022, Leah previously held the position of Digital Content Coordinator for the City of Memphis from December 2017 to September 2022, where social media content for Mayor Jim Strickland was managed and a Facebook page for Spanish-speaking audiences was implemented. Leah's journalism experience includes roles as a Reporter/Producer at ABC 24 WPTY, a Reporter at KOAA News First 5, and a Reporter/Anchor at WSAW-TV, where reporting, shooting, and editing skills were developed. Early career experiences as a Correspondent and a DJ & Music Reviewer further shaped Leah's media expertise. Leah holds a Master of Science in Broadcast and Digital Journalism from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Rochester.
