S. Benedict Dossen currently serves as the Senior Country Representative for The Carter Center in Liberia, focusing on mental health program expansion and policy development. Previous roles include Country Program Lead for the Mental Health Program, Senior Partner at The Cotton Tree, and Director of Gender and Social Inclusion for the Millennium Challenge Account Liberia. Dossen has extensive experience in behavioral health initiatives, research ethics, and social inclusion, holding significant positions with national and international organizations. Educational background includes two Master's degrees in Global Mental Health from London institutions and a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Mother Patern College of Health Sciences.
