Susan Marx

Director, Human Rights Program at The Carter Center

Susan Marx is an accomplished professional specializing in human rights and women's empowerment, currently serving as the Director of the Human Rights Program at The Carter Center since May 2022. With extensive experience in project management and development, Susan has held significant roles at the American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative, including leadership positions focused on women's employment and rights programs in Eswatini, as well as the management of an anti-trafficking initiative across Southern Africa.
