Tania Gonzalez, BSPH, MAS, currently works as a self-employed Geospatial Analyst Consultant and has been serving as a Data Analyst for the Trachoma Control Program at The Carter Center since August 2022. Responsibilities include managing a cloud-based trachoma database with over one million records and conducting complex analyses and spatial modeling. Tania has also worked as a Graduate Assistant for the same program, transforming large epidemiological datasets for visualization purposes. Previous experience includes internships with the Indian Health Service in geographic health data visualization, the City of Atlanta Department of City Planning in GIS, and broadstreet + covid-19 data project focusing on health equity. Tania holds a Master of Applied Science in Spatial Analysis for Public Health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from Kent State University.
