Ivan Burduk is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in event management and product development, currently serving as a Senior Events Associate at The Centre for Effective Altruism since September 2021. In this role, Ivan manages a team to enhance Salesforce functionalities and improve conference impact through data strategy. Prior to this, Ivan held various positions including Events Associate and Community Builder at Effective Altruism Australia & New Zealand. Ivan's engineering background includes roles as a Product Development Engineer and Research Engineer at Lanaco, where significant projects included face mask development and collaboration with external organizations for scientific research. Ivan also founded Elemental Essences, creating personalized natural perfumes. Academic achievements include a dual degree in Chemical and Materials Engineering and Physics & Chemistry from The University of Auckland, accompanied by research roles at notable institutions.

Effective Ventures Foundation USA Inc. (EV US) is a section 501(c)(3) organization in the USA (EIN 47-1988398). EV UK and EV US are separate charities that collaborate closely under the “Effective Ventures” name.
