Rika Gabriel has extensive experience in research, communications, and outreach across various organizations. Currently serving as the Recruitment and Outreach Officer at Charity Entrepreneurship, Rika has successfully built engagement systems for numerous conferences. Additional roles include Research and Communications Volunteer at Healthy Futures Global and Research Intern at Family Empowerment Media. Rika's past work at Ateneo de Manila University involved significant contributions as a Psychology and Mental Health Research Student, focusing on projects related to mental health and assistive technology. Notable experiences also include coordinating outreach for the Lead Exposure Elimination Project and acting as Vice President for Internal Affairs at Effective Altruism Blue. Rika co-founded Effective Altruism Philippines and has played a leadership role in emergency response training at Philippine Science High School. Rika holds dual degrees in Management Engineering and Psychology from Ateneo de Manila University.

The Centre for Effective Altruism (CEA) is a charity dedicated to building and nurturing this global community of people who are thinking carefully about the world’s biggest problems and taking impactful action to solve them. CEA is an Effective Ventures project. Effective Ventures Foundation (UK) (EV UK) is a charity in England and Wales (with registered charity number 1149828, registered company number 07962181, and is also a Netherlands registered tax-deductible entity ANBI 825776867). Effective Ventures Foundation USA Inc. (EV US) is a section 501(c)(3) organization in the USA (EIN 47-1988398). EV UK and EV US are separate charities that collaborate closely under the “Effective Ventures” name.
