James Johnson

James Johnson is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in patent and competitive intelligence. Currently serving as Principal Analyst at The Chamberlain Group since February 2006, James leads patent and technical research efforts and collaborates with outside counsel on patent prosecution, while also consulting for product development and engineering teams. Prior to this role, James managed the Information Management Center at Baxter Healthcare from 1988 to 2006, acting as the key liaison between research communities and patent teams. James began the career as a Public Services Librarian at Lutheran General Hospital from 1986 to 1988. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Library & Information Science and a Bachelor's degree in History with a minor in Mathematics, both from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
