Jorge Fernandez

Jorge Fernandez is an experienced web developer currently employed at The Channel Company since March 2012, specializing in both front-end and back-end development with technologies such as Drupal, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL databases. Prior to this role, Jorge served as a System Administrator at EDS, an HP Company from 1996 to 2010, handling system installations, configurations, performance monitoring, security, and disaster recovery planning. Earlier experience includes positions as a System Analyst and System Developer at Electronic Data Systems (1990-1995), where oversight of a client/server application for a legal client and development of insurance applications took place, along with system administration tasks. Jorge began their career as a System Developer at Seguros Avila from 1988 to 1990, focusing on claims, accounting, and payroll applications using RPG II. Jorge holds a B.S. in Computer Science from IUTIRLA, attained in 1988.
